This May, I visited Lombok with a bit of nervousness, as it was my first time traveling to Indonesia. Even though I knew it was safe, stepping into an unfamiliar country still made me anxious, so I decided to book a tour with Lombok Experience.
While waiting at our homestay, a white SUV pulled up. At first, I assumed it was for other guests—until Emil stepped out and greeted us warmly.
From the moment we got in the car, Emil was dedicated and enthusiastic, introducing the sights in English along the way. Even though my friend and I have limited English and couldn’t understand everything, he remained incredibly patient, attentive, and professional throughout. He followed the agreed itinerary seamlessly, never missing a single stop or meal. Whenever we wanted to spend less time at certain spots, he was always accommodating and flexibly adjusted the schedule to our pace.
